The foundational falsifiability criterion of this paper is long-term: if a sufficiently accurate DNA simulation — one satisfying 𝜖 ≤ 𝜖DNA — is constructed and shown no pain sensitivity, Axiom 4 is invalidated. The effect of pain and subjective experience on behaviour is measurable by the same methods used to measure the effects of any physical intervention.
A nearer-term criterion follows from Axiom 3: if a physical process essential to DNA function is shown to be provably non-computable, the framework fails. This is in principle testable through precision studies of quantum coherence in biological systems.
